Matthew Whittaker

Matthew joined Axiome in 2026 after completing a Master of Finance with Distinction and a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Otago.

As a Financial Analyst, he provides paraplanning support and undertakes investment analysis and valuation work. He is particularly interested in financial modelling and investment decision-making. Matthew believes that quality financial decisions are built on thorough analysis, and enjoys helping clients navigate complex financial issues with greater confidence.

During his studies, Matthew completed a scholarship-funded internship with the Financial Planning & Analysis team at Hongkong Land in Hong Kong, where he gained practical experience applying financial analysis in an international business environment.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys skiing, rock climbing, ultimate frisbee, and travelling.
