Sam Knight

Sam has an Honours degree in Economics from the University of Canterbury and has achieved the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst designation which measures and certifies the competence and integrity of financial analysts.

He believes that financial advisers should be first and foremost educators and help their clients understand and navigate the financial landscape. While each client is at different stage on their financial journey, the creation of a clear and disciplined wealth-building strategy can provide clients with a far greater degree of certainty and freedom in reaching their financial goals.

Sam has worked in financial markets for the last nine years and in the private wealth industry for the last five years. Previously Sam worked in the Energy Markets at NZX in Wellington.

He has gained valuable experience working with a wide range of investment professionals in helping manage investments ranging from large estates, private, charitable, and community trusts, as well as institutions. This experience includes determining asset allocation and developing strategies for fixed income and equity investments.

Sam enjoys hiking and obstacle course races such as Tough Mudder and Spartan Race and brings that competitive ethic into his work life.
